BYU's 8 Game WInning Streak

In the past eight games, BYU is 8-0 with wins against Arizona State, at Nevada, at Arizona, three wins that should be noted come NCAA Tournament time in March. The Cougars only loss this season was to pre-season WAC favorite, Utah State. It's not the 13-1 record that impresses me, it's the way BYU has won the games. They have scored 70+ points in every single game this season, except one, when they scored 69. They have hit the century mark twice, with a third game of 99 points. In their past four contests, they are averaged 96.5 points per game as a team, led by Point Guard Jimmer Fredette, who is averaging 31.5 points in those four games, including a 49 point outburst at Arizona. On the season, he is averaging a team-high 21.6 points per game (which currently ranks 15th in the nation), while his 79 assists rank eighth in the nation. The nation's top-ranked offense, the Brigham Young Cougars, will go as long as Fredette is willing to lead them.
