Yao Ming Is Back

Our sources and the Rockets’ officials have reported that Yao Ming is fully recovered after missing all of last season with a broken foot. Rumors had surfaced as of late that the center could miss the first 30 games of the 2010-11 season, while chatter only grew stronger when the Rockets signed Brad Miller to a three-year, $15 million deal.

While Rockets execs have smashed the rumors that Yao will miss the first two months or so of the season, they will be in no rush to bring him back. He is expected to return this season, and while sources are telling us he will be ready for training camp and the beginning of the 2010-11 campaign, nothing has been announced just yet.

If Yao misses time, expect Brad Miller to fill in with Luis Scola and Jordan Hill garnering more minutes.
