Wolves Add Ridnour; Sessions On the Move

On Wednesday, the Timberwolves have signed former Milwaukee Buck, Luke Ridnour, to a four-year, $16 million contract. In 2009-10, Ridnour averaged 10.4 points and 4.0 assists backing up rookie guard, Brandon Jennings. This year, Ridnour will be the primary backup to another class of ’09 guard, Jonny Flynn. Where does this leave Ramon Sessions, another former-Bucks guard who signed a four-year deal last September with Minnesota?

Earlier this week Sessions made it clear he wants to stay in Minnesota and compete for minutes behind Flynn, “I’m a Timberwolf right now and I expect to be one next season… We got a young team, it’s going to be exciting to go out there and play hard. We got a lot of young guys that are going to run up and down the court and give 110 percent.”

If Sessions is on the trading block, New York is no longer an option with the signing of Ray Felton, but he has been mentioned in trade talks with Cleveland and Indiana.
