Walker Hits 30-point Mark Again; Leads Comeback Win

Down one at halftime to the Wildcats wasn't expected. Especially since these are the Wildcats of New Hampshire, not Kentucky- those Wildcats Connecticut had no problems with last week in Maui. New Hampshire outrebounded UConn and had 18 total offensive rebounds, despite being outmatched in every position and the Huskies needed a late run to put away UNH.

Walker's scoring sparked the Huskies, but it was also some intense defensive pressure that forced the Wildcats into turnovers and contested shots. UConn big man, Alex Oriakhi, manned the paint, collecting 10 rebounds, but also a game-high 5 blocks as well.

Walker, the nation's leading scorer, had his fourth 30+ point outburst in five games; on the season, he has scored 38.5% of his team's points- perhaps something to worry about when defenses really start to lock-down on the junior guard. Oriakhi is the team's only other double-digit scorer, averaging 12 points per game.

Something also to note: UConn only has 63 assists on 160 team baskets, giving even more reason to worry if an opponent is able to lock down Walker. He is the team's leading distributor, tallying nearly one-third of the Huskies total.
