Impact Transfer: Brandon Wood, Valparaiso to Michigan State

The slender 6'2" guard isn't a big NBA prospect by any means, but Wood is a huge pickup for Izzo and the Spartans. The former Vaparaiso star shooting guard was able to transfer after receiving his degree and taking graduate classes and will immediately give this team a scoring punch from the perimeter.Wood led the Crusaders in scoring last season and has put up some strong numbers against top competition- putting up 24 on Michigan State in 2009-10 and 30 against North Carolina that same season.
