Georgetown's Greg Whittington Blooming

At 6'8", 215-pounds, Georgetown forward Greg Whittington brings versatility matched by few frontcourt pieces with the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor, inside and out. After a solid start to the season and a few disappointing games later, Whittington seems to have found his stroke in a win over Western Carolina, and scouts are beginning to take notice.

Whittington most recently scored a career-high 25 points, hitting 3 3s and grabbing 11 rebounds. In Georgetown's precision-based offense, Whittington's basketball IQ and versatility bring him great promise. He can play the low- and high-post as well as on the perimeter, though, his consistency and shot selection could use improvement. But at 6'8" and with the court vision that he possesses, there are plenty of scouts across the country that believe that Whittington can make the move to a full-time small forward at the next level.
