Jarnell Stokes Moves Up NBA Draft Boards

The 19-year sophomore for Tennessee, Jarnell Stokes, is beginning to live up to his enourmous potential that has him ranked as a first-round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. But as Stokes continues his recent hot streak, Stokes, a massive 6'8" 270 pound forward with surprising agility and athleticism, he moves up teams' draft boards.

It was a slow start to the season for Stokes and the Tennessee Vols, but Stokes is rolling and UT is starting to pick up their play by going inside early and often to the sophomore forward.

In the last 3 Tennessee games, Stokes has 3 double-doubles, averaging 17.3 points and 13 rebounds on an efficient .700 field-goal percentage.

What makes Stokes so special is his unique combination of tremendous strength, agility, athleticism, which allows him to score inside and his soft touch allows him to knock down jumpers with consistency out to 15 feet.

With more performances like the past 3, Stokes should move up into the late-lottery/mid-first-round pick should he come out of Tennessee after this season.
