Biggest Upsets of the Day

Mike Muscala - Bucknell Bison

No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels defeats No. 5 Wisconsin Badgers 57-46

Ole Miss upset Wisconsin to win their firsts NCAA Tournament game in 12 years. Ole Miss led by 3 points at halftime and never looked back. The Wisconsin badgers who are known for their defensive mastery held the Rebels to their lowest point total of the season. Even while holding the opposing team's best player Marshall Henderson to 6-21 shooting from the field, including missing his first 12 of 13 shots, the Rebels still pulled off one of the best upsets of the Tournament to date.

No. 13 LaSalle Explorers defeats No. 4 Kansas State Wildcats 63-61

LaSalle had to win a play-in game to make it to the 2nd round upset the Kansas State Wildcats. The Explorers led by as much as 18 points, but let the Wildcats slip back into the game only losing by 2 points. LaSalle was led by Guard Ramon Galloway who scored 19 points and Forward Jerrell Wright who led all players with 21 points. LaSalle's next game should be interesting at they have a matchup with No. 12 Ole Miss who also had a major upset earlier in the day.
