A Pair of guards declare for the draft

Victor Oladipo, the Shooting Guard from Indiana is a top 10 pick right now. Oladipo has certain traits that all NBA teams crave. The Hoosier's guard has elite athleticism and is a great perimeter defender. He can finish at the rim with the best of them and is improving his shooting skills, but still has a way to go with his jumper. This physical ultra athletic swingman is an excellent rebounder to go along with one of the best motors in all of college basketball. Oladipo is listed at 6 foot 4 which may be a bit generous making him on the smaller side for an NBA shooting guard. If Victor can continue to improve his jump shot and limit his turnovers, he will make some NBA team in the lottery very happy with drafting him.

Kansas Jayhawks star shooting guard Ben McLemore has declared for the draft. McLemore is a top 5 pick with his skill set and collegiate resume. Like Oladpio, McLemore is an elite athlete. McLemore has the potential to be a great defender at the next level if he puts in the extra work necessary. McLemore is probably the best wing in this year's draft. He is a pure jump shooter with deep range and a quick release. McLemore will have to add strength at the next level and develop a consistent motor. There were times in college where he would seem to disappear. If Ben can develop into a leader and the wants the ball in crunch time, he can turn into an all-star.
