Kevin Durant in Beast Mode

Last Night Kevin Durant went on another tear to push his streak to 8 straight games with 30 points or more. LeBron and Kobe hold the record at 10 straight games. KD dropped 46 points last night against the Blazers. 46 Points is one of the highest scoring games put up by any player this season, but on Jan. 17, Durant posted a career high of 54 points. Durant has looked unstoppable lately no matter what team the Thunder play and no matter which player or combination of players try to guard him. Durant has now scored 40 points or more four times this month. Kevin Durant is leading his team in many ways this season. Of course Durant is leading his team in scoring, and is also leading OKC to a 32-10 record. Durant his certainly putting up numbers to lead the league in scoring (30.9 PPG) but he is also carrying his team on his back with 5.1 APG, 7.8 RPG, 1.8 SPG all while shooting almost 52% from the field. Durant is primed to be the league's Most Valuable Player.
