Team USA Stomps Dominican Republic

        Team USA is off to a strong start as expected in the FIBA World Cup improving to 4-0 after Wednesday's victory over the Dominican Republic. The U.S. men's national team steamrolled the D.R. 106-71 behind Kenneth Faried's second consecutive impressive performance. Faried hit 8-11 shots to tally 16 points. DeMarcus Cousins also turned in a strong performance scoring 13 points, 7 steals, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Anthony Davis did his part for team USA totaling 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks.  The U.S. scored over 100 points 2 games in a row while scoring 98 points in the previous 2 games. Tomorrow the Americans will finish Group C play against Ukraine. After they take on Ukraine, the men's national team will play in the round of 16 on Saturday against whoever the fourth place team from group D turns out to be.
