Melo Reaches Milestone in Knicks Victory

Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks to a victory over the Charlotte Hornets 96-93 while reaching a major milestone. Melo became just the 40th player in NBA history reach the all impressive 20,000 point mark. He became the 6th youngest player to reach the impressive milestone. Only seven other active players are in the exclusive club with Melo. After the game Anthony reminisced about playing with A.I. (Allen Iverson) together in Denver thinking how incredible it was that Iverson scored over 20,000 points but never thought that he would ever surpass that total. The Knicks are off to a solid 2-1 start including a victory over the favorites in the East, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
