Kevin Love Hosts his Former Team

On Wednesday night, Kevin Love's former team, the Minnesota Timberwolves will travel to Quicken Loans arena in Cleveland to face there former teammate for the first time since he was traded. T'Wolves coach Flip Saunders says that he does not hold a grudge against his former star player, but the fans of the Wolves are pretty loyal. Saunders was hinted at the fact that the fans will not forgive Love. The same happened with the fans of Love's new teammate LeBron James. The Cavs fans were hurt by James' departure, but now are but are now seeming to forgive James, at least a little bit. If King James bring a championship back to Cleveland, I am sure the fans will totally forgive James.

Just a little reminder that back in 2012, the T'Wolves former president of basketball operations David Kahn refused to offer Love a full five-year max contract extension. So instead of leaving, Love signed a 4 year extension with an opt out clause after the third year. Saunders replaced Kahn with and tried to convince love to stay with the team, obviously it was already too late. After six years with Minnesota and never making it to the playoffs, love wanted the chance to team up with one of the greatest players of our generation and win a championship. So far so good as the Cavs are currently sitting in the 5th spot in the East having won 7 out of their last 10 games while the Timberwolves have the3 worst record in the West.
