Another Free Agent Update

LaMarcus Aldridge - San Antonino Spurs

        There wasn't much doubt that Aldridge was going to leave the Blazers. I would find it hard to have foreseen him signing with the Spurs Not only will He help the Spurs now, but he will be Tim Duncan's replacement in the near term future. Aldridge also help guarantee that the Manu Ginobili would return. Aldridge signed a 4-year max contract worth over $80 million.

Lou Williams - Los Angeles Lakers

        The reigning 6th man of the year Lou Williams was upset when the Raptors did not want him back. Williams will now join Kobe and the Lakers for 3-years and $21 million. Williams had a career year last season with Toronto and he will help look to improve a struggling Lakers' squad.

Reggie Jackson - Detroit Pistons

        The Pistons have resigned Reggie Jackson to a 5-year $80 million contract. After Brandon Jennings went down to a season ending injury, the Pistons committed to landing their PG of the future. They must have like what they saw form Williams. His 5-year deal does not have any player or team options.

Mo Williams - Cleveland Cavaliers

        Williams is returning to Cleveland on a 2-year deal for $4.3 million. The Cavs were looking to give LeBron all of the pieces for them to return to the NBA Finals and this time bring home a championship. James hasn't signed yet, but the signing of Mo Williams sure doesn't hurt the team while they are waiting for James to sign on the dotted line.

Manu Ginobili - San Antonio Spurs

        Ginobili is returning to the Spurs to try to finish up his career with another championship trophy. He will return for another season along with Duncan. His return will make Coach Popovich a happy camper. We all know that Pops does not chase free agents.

David West - San Antonio Spurs

        West gave up $12 Million to sign a $1.5 Million deal with the Spurs for a chance to win a championship. The Spurs are looking stacked with the return of Duncan, Ginobili and the additions of Aldridge and now West.

Aaron Brooks - Chicago Bulls

        The Bulls are bringing back Aaron Brooks to be their backup PG and their spark plug off the bench. The Bulls are bringing back the same team with the addition of 1st round draft pick and SEC player of the Year Bobby Portis.

DeAndre Jordan - Undecided

        Jordan was all set to jump ship from the Clippers and sign with the Mavs so he could be the focal point of their offense. Now Jordan is rumored to be uncertain as to weather or now he wants to joins the Mavs or return to the Clippers. Stay tuned ladies and gentleman.
