Where Will USF's Dominique Jones Land?

South Florida bursted onto the national scene this year, leading the perennial Big East cellar dweller into the bubble watch for the NCAA Tournament; Jones went off for 46, 28, 37 and 29 points in four consecutive games, leading the Bulls to their first ever four-game win streak. Some scouts believe he is a poor man's Dwayne Wade; he can play the point and the 2-guard, contributing in almost every area in the box score. He will need to continue to improve his shooting accuracy from distance, but he is a sexy pick due his quick first step and almost unstoppable ability of getting into the paint; on top of his offense, he is a hard-nosed defender and leads by example. Next year, he'll be able to get immediate playing time off the bench as a physical defender and offensively, giving the team a burst when the opportunity arises.

So where will he land? Most likely in the 1st Round, although we have heard everything from late teens to early 2nd Round. With his knack for scoring the basketball, it will be hard for a team to pass on Jones late in the 1st Round.
