Dexter Pittman Looks Good; Will Miss the Rest of the Combine
Since their NCAA opening round last-second loss to Wake Forest, Dexter Pittman, Texas' 6'10", 290-pound big man has committed himself to the weight room and a healthy diet. He showed up at the combine looking a bit leaner, but lighter on his feet as well. Some scouts were impressed by Pittman's size and improved agility around the low post, while others still seem a bit skeptical of the Texas center due to his mid-season collapse before turning it on at the tail end of Big 12 play.
Just as he started to turn some more heads and create some positive buzz for himself, Pittman had to leave camp in Chicago and head home after his brother was shot and killed on Thursday evening.
