Xavier Henry Fails to Impress

Some GMs and front offices couldn't be higher on former-Jayhawk, Xavier Henry, rating him as high as their sixth ranked prospect, while others have him ranked at the latter end of the lottery, while some have even dropped him out of their lottery all together. It's difficult to argue with his size (6'7", 220-pounds) or his shooting at the collegiate level, but Henry really failed to impress me during his NBA combine workouts so far in Chicago. His shot has looked flat, and often times he would overcompensate, leading to long misses off the far side of the rim. In the 3-on-2, 2-on-1 series, he made multiple mistakes from lazy passes that were picked off or settled for long jumpers instead of making the extra pass. While I'm not totally discrediting Xavier Henry's stock for his poor showing so far at the combine, he didn't exactly end the 2009-10 season on a high note (averaging 7.5 points over the final three games). We have dropped Henry slightly, but he still has some time left to raise his stock back up.
