Motiejunas Withdraws from 2010 NBA Draft

Over the weekend, Lithuanian forward, Donatas Motiejunas, decided to withdraw his name from the 2010 NBA Draft. We had the left-handed 7-footer slotted to go anywhere between No. 11 to New Orleans down to Portland at No. 22. Once considered a potential Top 10 talent, he has seen his stock fall a bit due to the depth and NBA readiness of the power forward position in this draft. Motiejunas is still likely a few years away from contributing at the next level, as his body matures and he adds on some to his slender frame strength.

Motiejunas will battle Kentucky's incoming freshman Enes Kanter, Ohio State's Jared Sullinger, Trey Thompkins of Georgia and fellow international prospect Jan Vesely to be the top big man selected in the 2011 Draft.
