#22 Charles Jenkins | G
Strengths

Right-handed… It's difficult to imagine that a player as productive as Jenkins has been over the course of his career, he's just breaking onto the draft scene for some scouts. Check out his efficiency his senior year- 23 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists. He shot 51.7 percent from the floor, 42 percent from 3, and 82 percent from the line. He was responsible for a ridiculous 1.56 points per shot this year… But it's not just his scoring prowess that scouts love, it's his size and strength. He's built like a linebacker and plays a gritty, physical style, but is quick enough to take defenders off the dribble or use his brut to overpower them… Jenkins has the ability to get to the foul line (nearly seven attempts per game) and convert. As we stated earlier, Jenkins is a very good free-throw shooter… He has a high basketball IQ and uses his court vision to find openings in the defense or find the open teammate. His size dictates that Jenkins won't be the go-to guy at the next level and scouts love his ability to create for his teammate. While he isn't a pure point guard by any means (2,500+ career points), he has enough playmaking abilities to split duties between the guard spots at the next level… He is at his best when breaking down the defense in an isolation (one on one) setting, but also very strong in pick-and-roll and catch-and-shoot options.
Weaknesses

At 6'3", Jenkins is undersized for a shooting guard, but does have decent length and athleticism to compensate. Along with his height, his lack of explosiveness will limit his ability to finish against bigger guards and frontcourts at the next level… Jenkins will have to show scouts he is capable of playing point guard for long stretches of time, instead of as a scoring guard looking for his shot first…
