#1 Darius Miller | F
Strengths

Right-handed… Miller possesses terrific athleticism and versatility to plays three positions on the floor and become a value to both Kentucky and a team moving forward. He has good size at 6'7" and length and good overall productivity, but has been overshadowed the past few seasons by the elite talent coming in for Kentucky… His explosive leaping ability and smooth body control allows him to score around the rim or pull-up for a short mid-range jumper. But his biggest impact comes by way of knocking down shots from the 3-point line. He has good range on his jumper and lit several team up down the stretch in the regular-season and postseason… On the perimeter, Miller can handle the ball some and passes well, enough to shift over and give John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Marquis Teague… Despite his lanky and wiry frame, he is a strong rebounder and shot-blocker…
Weaknesses

Miller does not have great lateral quickness, struggling to defend quicker 1s and 2s and picking up fouls in the process… Miller's role in the Kentucky offense is limited- he lacks the aggressiveness and opportunities to score the basketball to the best of his ability, where he only really got to the foul line for two shots a game, which is surprising given his quick first step and ability to get to the rim… His jump shot still needs work to extend his range- he shoots the ball on his way down as opposed to releasing it on his highest point… Miller needs to continue to improve his ball-handling and add a mid-range pull-up to his arsenal…
