#3 Devin Ebanks | F
Strengths

Right handed....As Ebanks' minutes continued to increase throughout his freshman season, Ebanks became the go-to guy on the Mountaineer squad… Standing tall at 6'9", Ebanks offers great NBA athleticism at the forward spot and abuses opposing players with his sizeable length… As a part of a young West Virginia team that graduated only one player, Ebanks will continue to run the floor aggresively, exploiting opposing defenses, slamming home electrifying dunks- he has the makings of a star… Has shown a smooth touch from mid-range, although he struggled from 3-point range… Ebanks has shown that he is a team player and has above-average court vision- dishing out 4 or more assists in almost a third of his teams games… Ebanks has shown the ability to be a strong rebounder, mainly due to his length and explosiveness…
Weaknesses

Ebanks needs to continue to gain valuable minutes and experience playing at a high level. Although he performed well last season, he has the talent to be a top pick in the 2010 NBA Draft… With increased playing time, Ebanks' defensive awareness should get better and we could see him as a Big East Defensive Player of the Year candidate- look for Ebanks to get a boost in his steals and blocks totals… Shaky ball-handling abilities- needs to gain confidence and use his left hand more, especially to utilize more advanced ball moves… Ebanks needs to add muscle to his thin frame… Inconsistent jump shot from outside…
