Strengths

Right handed....At 6'7", not only does Turner offer good size, but also terrific versatility- solid in so many areas of his game… The silent and poised leader for the Buckeyes leads by example and by his play… Very good athleticism and agility… Turner excels with the ball in his hands as he often shows his excellent ball handling skills and ability to get to the rim, but he is also a very good passer… Keeps opponents off balance with a variety of jabs and ball fakes and has great dribble moves in his arsenal like his crossover and an effective hesitation move… Balanced offensive game- a smooth mid-range shooter, consistent from about 15'-17' and is improving from further out… Good shooter coming off screens and shows an excellent shot selection… Turner takes advantage of his size with his solid post game- using terrific footwork, Turner like to use a soft turnaround jumper or often an up-and-under move to score on opponents… On defense, he is aggressive and active, using his length and quickness to get into the passing lanes… Excellent defensive rebounder…

Weaknesses

Turner is turnover prone, but he does most of the ball handling for the Buckeyes. He should look to improve reading the defense better and understanding where his teammates will be… In the lane and finishing around the rim, Turner would be better suited by adding upper body strength… Slow release mechanics on his jump shot…
