Position: Shooting Guard/Small Forward

Team: Oklahoma St.

Class: Junior
Strengths

Right handed...The 6'6" junior is quite the offensive weapon. He has an NBA-ready body and an NBA-ready offensive game. Although his shooting percentages as down a bit from last season, he is the focal point of Oklahoma State's offense with his excellent shooting ability and deep range… He is an excellent athlete with good leaping abilities… Anderson has gotten the reputation of being one-dimensional as a scorer, but over the past year or two, he has truly added multiple dimensions to his game. He is developing into a better rebounder and has nearly doubled his assists since last year… He has above-average quickness and long arms make him a solid defender. He averages about 1.5 steals per game and almost one block per contest…
Weaknesses

Anderson built his game off of his shooting ability and he should continue to further develop that aspect of his game. He needs to utilize his shot-fake more and put the ball on the floor. If an extra defender closes out on him, he should dump the ball down to the open teammate or if the defender does not help, he can now pull-up for a closer, higher percentage shot. Because Anderson has yet to develop this part of his game, he does not get to the foul line much to take advantage of his 81% free-throw shooting. He also needs to improve his ball-handling which would make him more comfortable utilizing that shot fake…
