#30 Jon Leuer | F
Strengths

Right-handed… Leuer has developed into one of the best, if not the best, shooting big in the country. He has NBA-range on his jumper, but don't just play him for his deep range. He can put the ball on the floor and create off the dribble. In his senior season, Leuer's perimeter shooting has hit a new level this season. He is shooting lights out- 50% from behind the arc and has already made more 3s this season than he did in his entire junior season… He has a great feel for the game, enabling him to play outside on the 3-point line or even at the high-post if Wisconsin needed. His ball-handling enables him to play all 3 front court positions… Leuer does a very good job defending opposing big men. Surprisingly, he does not mind bodying up with some post threats and has proven to be a pretty decent shot-blocker; he can affect opponents' shots without fouling.
Weaknesses

Looking at the senior forward, the only attribute that makes Leuer stand out is his 6'10". But he's thin. He lacks explosive athleticism. He isn't a great rebounder. And to top everything off, he is a bit old for some team's liking, turning 22 the month before the Draft… His ceiling isn't particularly high because of his lack of physical tools, but also because of his undeveloped inside game.
