King James Nets His 9000th Field Goal

LeBron James nets his 9000th field goal last night becoming the 20th player in NBA history to reach this impressive mark. King James achieved this remarkable feat against the Philadelphia 76ers by dunking an alley-oop from Mo Williams. The Cavaliers topped the 76ers 107-100. LBJ is one of the five active players to record this accomplishment joining Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, and Dirk Nowitzki. Earlier this week, James set another record by becoming the youngest player in the history of the NBA to score 25,000 points. James reached this milestone at 30 years and 307 days old. He is also the 20th player to tally 25,000 points and only three other players required fewer games than the King. Those three players were none other than Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlin and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
