#1 Michael Carter-Williams | G
Hometown: Hamilton, MA
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 184
Position: Point Guard/Shooting Guard
Team: Syracuse
Class: Sophomore
Strengths
Right-handed… This long, versatile wing can play either guard spot with his ability to put points up in a hurry or run the offense and set-up teammates. He can carry the scoring load and hurt you from the perimeter or on his attacking drives or serve as a floor general and run the team. Carter-Williams is always in attack mode no matter what position he is playing… He has a consistent, deep-threat ability from behind the arc and because of this, he stretches the defense and allows himself to get to the rim easily… Carter-Williams has not logged many minutes at the point guard, but he shows potential here…
Weaknesses
Given his size and length, Carter-Williams' weight is still playing catch-up. He has a thin, frail frame and desperately needs to add muscle to compete at the next level. Especially with his attacking mentality on offense, his body is going to take a pounding as he takes the ball into the paint and he will most definitely need to bulk up to finish through contact and hold his course driving through the lane…
