Orlando Summer League Highlights Day 1

NBA-DRAFT.COM will take a look at only some of the highlights from day 1 of the Orlando Summer league. Stay tuned for the low lights of the summer league.

Heat defeat Nets, 110-91

        Miami's James Ennis had a monster game lighting up the Nets for 29 points, hitting 10-12 shots while making 7-8 from 3-point land. UConn's Shabaz Napier was Drafted by the Heat after LeBron James lobbied for the diminutive point guard. Napier rebounded from his lackluster performance in game one to finish with 17 points and 7 dimes. Mason Plumlee followed up his nice performance in game 1 with 18 points.

Sixers defeat Thunder, 84-73

        Casper Ware of the 76ers was the game's leading scorer with 20 points. The storyline from Phili's first game was the debut of Nerlens Noel. Noel didn't disappoint in  game 1 and sat out game 2 to rest. Rookies K.J. McDaniels and Travis Bader each finished the game with 13 points apiece. Mario Little led the Thunder in scoring in game 2 with 18 points. Rookies Semaj Christon finished with 12 points and 5 assists. Last Year's rookies Andre Roberson from Colorado and Steven Adams from Pitt each finished with 12 points.

Pistons defeat Grizzlies, 85-82

        Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had another masterful performance in his second game of the summer league dropping a game high 30 points while tallying 12 boards and 3 assists. Jordan Adams of the Grizzlies had a second consecutive nice game showing why he was the team's first round pick from UCLA. Adams was his team's high scorer with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Jarnell Stokes also had another solid game turning in 16 points.
