Raul Neto | G
Strengths

Right-handed… Neto has ideal size for an NBA point guard, standing 6'2" and 195 pounds. He makes up for his underwhelming athletic ability with great craftiness in his ball-handling. He utilizes his body well to shield the defender while still maintaining the vision to see the floor.  Neto has great body control, enabling him to run the point in transition, stopping on a dime to drop the ball off in a split-second or getting in the air and adjusting to finish a shot in the paint. He can pass the ball just as well with his left as he can his right-hand, threading the needle through a bounce pass or wrapping around the back of a defender to deliver the ball… To combat his average quickness, Neto has an awesome ability to thread together double-moves like a right-to-left cross into a step-back or an inside-out move in combination with a hesitation move that can freeze the defense in their position… Great court vision allows Neto to see the next play before it develops, making quick passes or plays before the defense can react. Running with a mobile big man, Neto can be a real threat in the pick-and-roll game.
Weaknesses

Neto needs to improve his overall feel for the game. Neto does not play as well when moved off the ball as he can be found walking around the perimeter or standing still staring at the ball-handling. He also gets himself up in the air to make a pass or take a shot, but cannot decide between the two and ends up forcing the play… But Neto's biggest weaknesses surround his lack of quickness and athleticism according to NBA standards. He struggles to breakdown the defense and create separation with one advanced ball move or get out in transition past the defense. Without any above-the-rim play, Neto often sloppily yet with finesse, tosses the ball underhandedly to the rim to finish his shots… He is a decent shooter when spotting up and given time on the perimeter, but subpar especially off the bounce.
