#21 Stanley Robinson | F
Stats

Hometown: Birmingham, AL

Height: 6'9"

Weight: 200

Position: Small Forward/Power Forward

Team: Connecticut

Class: Senior

Strengths

Right-handed… Robinson is a 6'9" lanky Forward that has the talent and ability to succeed at the next level. He has outstanding athleticism and is a tremendous leaper. He has been on fire from beyond the 3-point line as of late. He projects as a Small Forward at the next level, with the ability to play Power Forward if he can bulk up a little. Coming into his Senior season, Robinson was a player NBA scouts hoped would come together. He had some personal issues in the past and his talent did not reflect his production on the court. He seemed to underachieve throughout his first three seasons at UConn. However, this season, Robinson looks like a new player. He is a high motor player who looks determined on the court now… He offers great quickness. Robinson moves his feet well on defense and runs the floor well on offense… He is a solid rebounder. Due to his length and leaping ability, with some added weight, Robinson could be a very good rebounder at the next level… His ability to defend makes Robinson that much more attractive. He has great lateral quickness and length to guard every position at the college level. He is averaging 1+ steal and 1.5+ blocks per game at this point in the season…
Weaknesses

Will Robinson make the transition from college Power Forward to NBA Small Forward? He has the talent, athleticism and now the jump shot to boast, but will he be able to struggle at the next level and still keep his head up? He seems to have put his personal issues behind him that haunted him early last season… Robinson needs to add strength to his 6'9", 210-pound frame… He is a poor free-throw shooter at around 65% for his career at UConn…
