Top Transfers In College Basketball - 2013-2014

Rodney Hood - Duke Blue Devils

        Rodney Hood Transferred from the Mississippi Bulldogs. In Hood's freshman and only season playing at Mississippi, he averaged 10.3 points per game. Hood was the 3rd or 4th option on that team, which is part of the reason he transferred. This season Hood is scoring 16.9 PPG, 4.5 RPG and 2.1 APG while making two 3-pointers a game. Hood has scored 20 points, 8 times this season so far. What's more impressive is that he is shooting a higher percentage from the 3-point line (44.9 percent), inside the arc (53.6 percent) and at the foul line (83.7 percent).

Jordan Clarkson -  Missouri Tigers

        Jordan Clarkson had two fine seasons at Tulsa for the Golden Hurricanes. While at Tulsa for his Sophomore season, Clarkson averaged 16.5 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 2.5 APG. The 6 foot 5 Guard transferred to Missouri for his Junior season to fine tune his game against top notch competition. Clarkson's hard work and motivation has paid off big time as he is now on some teams radar at the next level. Clarkson is averaging 18.7 PPG game while facing much stiffer competition and he handles has been working on his Point Guard skills.

Ryan Spangler - Oklahoma Sooners

        Ryan Spangler started his college career with the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Spangler has been on the court for the Sooners 75% of the season so far and has taken advantage of every minute he has played. He is leading the Big 12 in rebounding this season while averaging a double-double (11.1 PPG, 10.2 RPG) and over a block a game. Spangler has nine double-doubles so far this season.
