2012-13 Top Transfers: #8 Trent Lockett, Marquette

Although he stands just 6'5", do not underestimate Trent Lockett's versatile game; he led the Arizona State Sun Devils in scoring and rebounding last season at 13.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Enter Marquette who lost Big East Player of the Year Jae Crowder and Darius Johnson-Odom who handled 47 percent of the Golden Eagles' offense in 2011-12.

Playing alongside junior Vander Blue and sophomore wing Todd Mayo, Buzz Williams will have a potent three-guard lineup at his disposable, with none being more important to Marquette's overall success than Trent Lockett. He will have the shoes of Crowder to fill with his ability to battle inside with his 210 pound frame, but even moreso from the perimeter, where he hit .412 percent of his long-ball attempts a year ago.

Lockett brings an immediate offensive boost from the wing for the Golden Eagles who look to once again lead the Big East in most offensive categories en route to an eighth straight NCAA appearance.
